  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the cake mix instructions.
  2. Prepare the chocolate cake batter as directed, pour into a greased 9×13-inch pan, and bake until done (about 30 minutes). Cool for 10 minutes.
  3. Poke holes in the warm cake using a wooden spoon handle.
